Teacher VALÉRIA PETRONI

Started her studies in 1976.  A Royal Academy of Dance graduate, she also studied the Cuban Method. American Tap Dance, Marchina Method. Courses with Marchina, Brenda Bufalino, Margaret Morison, Jason Samuels Smith, Lisa La Touche and others. Her Jazz studies were oriented by Amanda,  Veronica and Roseli Rodrigues. Took Hip Hop lessons with Roger Niggax and Adriano Mendes. Created the choreography for important musicals such as: Aí vem o Dilúvio (Brazilian); A Ópera do Malandro (Brazilian); the Brazilian versions of Chorus Line and Priscilla, queen of the desert; and others. She is currently vice-president of the Marchina Tap Dance Studio where she gives teacher training. Gives workshops for musicals (tap dance and jazz) preparing actors for auditions and also gives regular dancing lessons. Director and choreographer of  Cia. Mecânica do Som Tap Dance since 2002.
