The concept of sustainability is applied in a number of activities performed at the Arts Space, including pottery.

• .Left-over enamel is fully utilized; new enamels are created by mixing the left-over material.

• Left-over clay is mixed to form new clays with a surprising resistance and beauty.

• Broken bisque pieces are grinded (chamotte/grog) and can be reintroduced in natural clay.
